Girls day out!

Alison and I both have working class, blue collar-ish boyfriends. Mark, her boyfriend is a little more blue collar then Joshua- they don't tend to really enjoy cheesy, mainstream, "nice" things like sushi, girls clothes, and a day downtown and it's hard for me to get Joshua to do things like go around to stores and walk around touristy spots... But its not too hard for us to (especially on payday weekend)!
We had ourselves a wonderful little date first going to the MCA to see the Jenny Holzer show, and doing a little shopping at the MCA gift store. I bought a cookie jar (Big daddy) that matches my soy and vinger (Bonnie and Clyde) set from Pepe and Friends, german line of china by designer Camila Prada, and a surprise mid century furniture box. It turns out it got the Le Corbusier chair!

We took touristy pictures of the city we already live in like this.


Our plan was to go Ice Skating at Millenium Park, after the museum, but there was a forty mintue wait and we were hungry. I hate that the suburns kids that come into the city and ruin things like this for people who actually live here! They shouldnt make the real residents wait to do things in their own city! Well so we didn't go ice skating but it was still fun.

So forget waiting!, we got a quick bite to eat and stopped into Macy's before going to get the car.
