At my work, we sometimes have free lunch when business is good. On average, we usually get one or two free lunches a week, on good weeks we have everyday!! So far this ,We've had free lunch twice this week. Which is pretty good since its been a dry show lately!
Free lunch sounds awesome, and it would be awesome...expect for the places that we order from. Last year, when our office was somewhat near downtown, we could order from semi-healthy fast food type places like, Panera. Since we've moved to this neighborhood, we've been ordering nothing but shitty chicago foods. Not really "shitty" , they are actually very very tasty. Its just that after I eat my lunch, I feel like ten pounds heavier, which in turn makes me feel like shit. NOT HOTT.
Like today, We ordered from this Taco place " the best Tacos in Chicago". The first time I ate there I had to lie down afterwards. Today, I feel like a giant.
There is wayy too much salt in everything. I'm sure my tostada was 50% of my sodium intake for the day...maybe even week. I got a chicken burrito to eat for dinner and I dont even know if I'll be able to eat it!
Another theory could be that I am PMSing. Which means I will eat that burrito and I will end up wanting more afterwards! I haven't really felt particularly moody, and I also dont feel any other regular symptoms of PMS.
And once again, only time will tell- am i getting my period? or am bloated? or have I just gained 5 pounds this week? Who knows.
