"Free" makes things a lot more fun.

To add to the shit storm- The megamall burned down this weekend.

But that was only a small damper on a pretty good weekend. Leading from an Okay night on Thursday, Friday proved to be really fun! I left work a little earlier then usual, and I met up with Whit to go out to the Fall gallery openings. In other words- A big deal (for students). We looked at some art in the west loop, I only saw a couple of pieces that I really liked and made me feel like I should make more art, the rest was just nasty self- art. I saw dog there, she was wearing a midriff sweater and tight jeans. She looked healthier (fatter). We obviously drank a lot and then I got a call from UPS and decided to pick up Joshua's Birthday Present at the office. So we all drove over to UPS, I went inside and waited for the package to arrive, Whit and Janine were outside and proceeded to have a parking lot party. I was still really drunky the whole time at UPS, and DEMANDED my package! (They wouldnt give it to me because i didnt have anything with my new address on it.) Well I got my package, and we scooped up Joshua at work to go to this "free" thing.
The free thing turned out AWESOME!!! We were in the south side, parking under the sketchy el train and being approached by homeless men! The party was all free!! We had free drinks, free food, and free records. We all did tequila shots!! and we ordered expensive alternatives to what we usually drink.

For an example, instead of ordering vodka cranberry, I said " Goose and cranberry!!!", gin and tonic was " Sapphire and tonic!!" and by tequila shots what we really said was " Patron shots!" We probably killed a whole bottle of Patron! By midnight, everyone was wasted and I felt like we'd be partying really hard for like 12 hours (only it was really only 6 hours).

The bar had a head shop and a record store attached to it, and we were walking around the whole place with our drinks. It was probably the most fun I've had in a long time!
Here is some proof.

Another giant thing about Friday is that I tried out a new do.

If you notice, my hair is doing a wave enfront and it is all brushed to one side. I tried to accomplish a new contemporary 90210 wave do from the 90's and I think it just really confused several people.
