Offical Blogging

My first blog was when i was like 16 and my boyfriend made me this pretty pretty blog. It was called Brazenfaced Escape and it was on angelfire! Since Angelfire is no longer, and I dont remember my blogger account, my blog is long gone. I"m sure if i was to read these days, I would be so embarrassed. I remember writing this whole thing about how I hated liquid eyeliner, and it was always lovey dovey since my boyfriend at the time was my tech and we used our blogs to communicate little messages. Well, he is still a techie guy and I'm still a very bad blogger, which makes it even more weird that my job is now to write my company's newsletter, blog and keep up the social networks, amongst a many other things added to my "new" job*.

Blogging is such a hot topic these days. Since I've been working on my Internet marketing (going to marketing conferences), and finally met the guy who does this stuff for my company (my friend's brother), I've learned a great deal about why there are so many shitty blogs out there! Everyone is pushing everyone to get one, and since it's free, no one is updating!
But when you are out there searching for someone who is an "expert" in whatever field you are interested in, you find a million blogs with one post on them.

But maybe that says something about the average person...maybe they aren't actually thinking about anything?


*"new" job- My lame ass co-worker was finally fired!!! and my boss gave me his position (Marketing Director) and now I get to do whatever I want at work!! Like surf myspace and commission videos for Youtube!
