Blizzard!!

I love bad weather. I love diasters- as long as I am not part of them. I can not wait for the blizzard tonight. There was suppose to be a blizzard last night and it never showed up. Well, hopefully the one tonight blows! And I don't have to go into work until maybe...after lunch? or If it's bad enough I don't have to go in at all. In Houston the worst weather would be a hurricane, which has never happened when I lived there, but it is pretty horrible for people when it does. Chicago, I guess it would be an ice storm, or a blizzard- and the only real bad news that comes from a snow storm is that those who are out on the roads have to either suffer from very bad traffic or car accidents. I can't think of anything in large scale damage...in the sixty the blizzard was so bad, they had to slide out of 2nd story windows!
Well I can live with that, and I love having my normal day to day activities interrupted. I'm already thinking about what I'm gonna do if I get the day off....eat all the chilli thats slowly cooking away in the crock pot, eat chips and ice cream, play with jules, build a snow man, turn up the heat and do sit ups in my swimsuit, and/or watch DAYTIME television. This sorta stuff is only fun if you get to do once in a while, I think there was a summer when I was in school where everyday was like this and I didn't really enjoy it. Not that I enjoy going to work everyday but it's 100x better then not having a job, especially right now.
I can't image people in L.A. not having to go into work because it's just too sunny outside, but I guess they can have like a week off when that whole bloody city/state falls off the face of the Earth.

This past weekend, Joshua and I went to Woodfield Mall and had ourselves a very romantic evening of mallratting. We'd stopped by Mitswua first to get some shampoo and eat some discount sushi and I always like to get a japanese fashion magazine, because they always give you presents! My last one was a cute klennex holder for my purse but the magazine was a little too young for me....this time around I picked up a magazine called Sweet, got a Jill Sanders keychain and little coin purse! The magazine was young and not too rich enough, I'm not sure if there is an american magazine similar to it...

One of my friends on Facebook posted this item today. I thought it was just awesome!
