My friend had a b-day and a going away party and then Joshua and I went to the zoo.
Al and I figured out part of the wedding ceremonies- I'm gonna sing "whattaman" by Salt and Pepa to Josh. Its going to be hilarious. I think I would more like to go for the funny jok-y wedding since I've never really wanted to get married anyways and dont really even believe in the idea of marriage these days. Of course I wuv josh and would like for us to grow old and tease each other about our future babies but who really knows! Plenty of people love each other and things just dont work out. Love is simply not enough for marriage. But I'm glad I figured out that I would send a message out to all those in attendance that Joshua is a particularly special person for putting up with me and going along with whatever idea I may have.
We came up with this game somehow. Maybe it was just a photo Op.
I also went on a stuffed animal safari at the zoo store. I think that hat is actually pretty becoming.
These lions really know how to chill. It totally reminding me of the Brian K. Vaughan book.
We saw all these cool animals in the short time we'd spent at the zoo. I have yet to make it on time for the monkey house. Maybe next time...Next weekend is my b-day and Sarah will be in town so I know to expect a lot of fun girlie times and trips down memory lane with my besties.
I'm especially happy for the friends that I have now- I think too often girls befriend each other based on really superficial values and do a lot of pretending to get into cliques or whatever. I've basically been friends with this group of girls for like 6 years! I love them. I can think of several examples of especially boring girls who lack all aspects of personality but insist that they are cool, funny or smart. Real funny, smart and cool people never state such things. My friends are all of the above and more, but they would never tell you these things; they are actually original.
