I actually wore this though: Forever 21 shirt, Thrifted Red belt, Target shorts, Marc Jacobs Thigh High Socks, and Sigerson Morrison for Target Booties.

Chris is a little fashion photographer! I gotta get this kid his own camera. When I came down for the storm clean up... Chris and I rode around the city, with him sticking his head out the window shooting the damage. I may of been a little tough on him, but his shots were really good! Just a little more work and I think I can get him to make his compositions better.

Anyhow, I'm a little excited about all these people from around the country, who are generally not in Houston for Christmas, but are this year! I wore the black version of those shorts out with my friend last night. We went downtown and grabbed some food, stopped by the liquor store and then to a couple of his friend's houses. A lot of his friends have just bought their first home! It is crazzy. We all worked at NASA through out high school. When the hell did everyone become so....settled?

The other morning I got a text from my best friend from High School, saying that she got engaged! This is crazy news!!! It is no secret that, I am in denial of my "adulthood", and now one of my oldest friends has taken a GIANT leap forward...It makes me feel old. I certainly did not want to ever be the first out of all my girlfriends to have to plan a wedding, let a lone GET married.
When is the right time? We are in a recession!! Why can't you just date your boyfriend forever without getting married- I don't know if there is any real difference.

Strangely related but completely different- Because shopping in Texas is so cheap I got my mom her Christmas gift from the jewelry store! I've never bought diamonds before- but today I stumbled into a store closing and bought my mom a very nice little Pave diamond ring set in rose gold. It is not the exact one linked, but very similar. I will take a picture of it when she wears it... but it was originally $700, and I bought for $130! I thought it was such a nice little thing, that I went back this evening and bought a 3.95 carat (its the width of my finger, and about half an inch tall) Emerald cocktail ring. WHAT? Did I just really do that? I've never ever bought real jewelry. The last piece of jewelry I bought was from the MOMA. I don't know what sort of warp I went though.
