Holiday Work Party

So for the past 2 years I've had to organize my work's Christmas Party.

Typically it's been held at Gene and Georgetti's- which is like an old man's steakhouse.
It's filled with well to do older gents, drinking and smoking with their friends. The waiters are in a union, they only serve very boring Italian food. So this all means that it's expensive. Everyone knows that we are even lucky to have a holiday party this year so we' decided to have it somewhere more sensible, but then also invite 60 more people. So this year, we had our party at Connie's Pizza.

Many of us were forced to have the typical rich person's pregame drink- Shots of Patron!

and then leave at like 7:30 to avoid the ice storm that was suppose to come. But everything was very mild, the food, the drinks, and the ice storm.

Last year was worst because we would always have our own personal bartender in our party room, so it was ridiculous. I think I had like 7 dirty martinis last year before we had to leave.... I had to stop by joshua's work and get driven home. Even though it was only like 5 blocks away, the one way streets, rain and the drinks I had had me driving around for like 30 minutes. VERY LUCKY I didn't get pulled over.
