So we planned a trip to Texas to talk to my parents about the wedding and it just
so happens my friend from high school is getting married! My first real friend from high school who is getting married!! It sort of marks a milestone in adulthood.
We went down there and didnt want to waste a beautiful day in the Texas hill country so we wrangled a friend of Joshua's to take some photos of us around Austin.

The images turned out awesome! and we've getting them ready to send out to our parents.

This meant that we also had to get the things we need to make the save the dates to send out to our friends. Our friend Shira suggested to Joshua that we make them luggage tags and since our whole idea was to make it about traveling and the journey...it fit perfectly. We went to Paper Source and bought really nice stock and stamps and glitter, everything we would need. So now we're armed with save the date materials, information about what we need to do, and my parents have an idea of what we were thinking about for our wedding. Too bad his mom's side isnt that into the idea of traveling, it's going to be a bomb party.

Also we made these masks to go to a yelp party. I think they came out amazing, it literally took us 2 hours to get everything done and only about $5. I got a lot of Lady Gaga references at the party we went to , but I wasnt dressed anything like her, and when I came home i looked up the reference and I think my mask is much cooler. Her mask is just like a disco ball, my shit was spiked and layered. I resent all comments relating to her!

For the real Halloween parties, I was a baby penguin and danced only in penguin styles all night. I'm waiting for my friend's pictures as I didn't bring my camera at all.
Goodby October, you were pretty fun. Thanks for the extra hour of daylight!
