Made in China

This issue has been in the news a lot lately, and I dont know how to feel about this.
I'm going to China, on Friday and I'm going to purchase A LOT of things there. I wouldn't buy things made in China in America, because I know just exactly how much of a rip off it is! But then again, if I needed something, I would not, not buy something because it is made in China. That doesnt make sense. The whole world is so dependent on what China produces ( which i am not saying is a good thing, for the world or China). I mean obviously it's bad when animals die because some asshole in China has decided he would replace vitamins with plastic. But they killed him!

So they say, Safety is a concern, People would have a hard time buying anything. I remember watching a new magazine special about American factories (Tyson Chicken was one of them) where their employees regularly quit due to injuries and companies such as Nike, who have their shoes occasionally assembled with the "Made in America" tag, in South Pacific Islands where the employees are basically paid slaves, because their entire lives revolve around the factory, and because it is an island, the people never leave- there are generations upon generations of people in the South Pacific Islands who are basically owned by companies.

They wear masks because the toys suck. Who designs these products?!...Alison?!?!

Then theres also the claim that "a Child made this". Well, I can't speak for every single family of the country, but I'm pretty sure that most Chinese parents push Education beyond anything else these days. Especially because each family can only have ONE child, most families don't send off their single heir, to work at a factory. If anything the parents are enslaving their children to be nerds who lack social skillz.

At my company, we have all Chinese workers. And we are a factory, in America- So even in America, we have Chinese people creating things for us. They make whatever the mimium wage is, and they play ping pong and ride bikes during their breaks.

My factory sort of looks like this.

In the factory that my grandma worked at, she got to hang out with her best friends, and when she retired, she got full medical coverage (which she used up and I even reeked some rewards of, when I had my tooth pulled out under her name), and monthly pension checks!
Our company isn't doing anything like that for our workers, some who have been here since like 1970's or something.
